For Etsy sellers outside the US

Etsy tariff calculator: price the US duty in before you ship.

Physical orders to the US now pay duty: since 9 July 2026, Etsy makes non-US shops prepay US import duty on them. Paste a listing and see a suggested tariff code, an estimate of the duty, and the US price that keeps your profit where it was. Digital downloads pay no duty.

New: listing price audit

Check every listing and variation at once.

Etsy's tariff estimate works one listing at a time, sellers report it doesn't handle listings with variations yet, and you still type each US price yourself. Open the listings file Etsy lets you download and see which US sales lose money.

Step 1

Download your listings

In Shop Manager, Settings, Options, Download data. Or use any spreadsheet with a title and a price column.

Step 2

Open it here

The file is read in your browser and never uploaded to us. We don't connect to your Etsy account.

Step 3

See what loses money

Each listing gets a likely tariff code, the duty, the loss on every US sale at today's price and a suggested US price.

Step 4

Fix the worst first

Download the results as a spreadsheet, sorted by loss, and update those US prices in Etsy.

New: ListingProof

Etsy's new photo and AI rules: check your whole shop.

Since 22 October 2026, most Etsy listings need at least one unedited photo of the actual item, and AI-generated patterns and bot-made listings are banned. Open your listings file and see which listings need a fix, bestsellers first. Free while paid plans aren't open, and it runs in your browser.

Questions

What sellers ask

Why can't I just keep my price and absorb the duty?

You can, but duty is charged on the price the buyer pays, and Etsy's fees also apply to it. On a 20% duty item, leaving the price alone means losing about a fifth of the sale before fees. The checker shows exactly how much.

Is this a landed cost calculator?

Yes, for a single US order. Landed cost is everything it costs to get an item to the buyer: the item, postage, US import duty, any duty handling or DDP fee, and Etsy's fees. The checker adds the duty and fees to your price, and the Etsy fee calculator shows the full landed cost and profit of one order line by line.

What do Etsy's fees add up to?

Usually about 10% to 13% of the sale: $0.20 to list, 6.5% transaction fee, 3% to 6% payment processing by country, plus a regulatory fee in some countries and 12% to 15% on Offsite Ads sales. See every fee and your profit in the Etsy fee calculator.

Doesn't Etsy already have a tariff calculator?

Yes. It suggests a tariff code and estimate for one listing at a time, and you still type the US price yourself. Sellers report it doesn't work for listings with variations yet. Our listing price audit checks your whole listings file at once.

How accurate are the tariff codes?

They are suggestions to check, not customs advice. Each one links to the official US tariff schedule so you can confirm it. A wrong code means a wrong duty, so the audit lets you set the code or duty rate yourself for any row.

Do you connect to my Etsy account?

No. You download your own listings file from Etsy and open it here. It is read in your browser and never sent to us, and we never sign in to Etsy or read Etsy pages.

What if US tariffs change again?

They have changed four times in a year. Join the free alerts above and we'll email you when a change affects sellers like you, then re-run the audit with the new rates.

I'm a US seller shipping to Europe. Can I use this?

The EU ended its €150 duty-free limit on 1 July 2026, and each product type in a parcel now pays €3. Our free EU €3 duty checker shows what your parcels pay.
