Use our free tools inside Claude and ChatGPT
Ask your AI assistant about duty, tariff refunds, US company filings, property tax or a chargeback, and it can run the same calculators as this site and give you a link to the result. Free, no account, nothing you type is stored.
Connect it
The server address is https://importdutycalc.com/mcp (an MCP server, the standard way AI assistants use outside tools). No sign-in is needed.
- Claude (claude.ai or the Claude app): Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, paste the address, then turn it on in a chat from the tools menu.
- ChatGPT: in Settings, under Apps, open the advanced settings and turn on developer mode, then add a new app with the address and no authentication.
- Other assistants and code tools that support remote MCP servers over HTTP: add the address as a server.

Every answer is dated, comes from the same rules as the pages on our sites, and ends with a link to the full tool with your numbers filled in, so you can check or change them.
Answer links
You don't need a connector to share a result. Our calculators also take their inputs in the page address and show the worked result at the top of the page, for example:

Privacy
The tools only calculate. We don't ask who you are, and we don't store what you or your assistant send: the numbers are used to work out the answer and then dropped. We keep a daily count of how often each tool is used, with no inputs attached. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard short-lived request logs. Full details: privacy policy.
Limits
Results are estimates from published rules, checked on the dates shown on each page. They are not legal, tax, customs or financial advice, and duty rates, deadlines and fees change. Confirm with the official source or a professional before you rely on them.
